As a New Yorker and mom via gestational surrogacy, I know the burden of having to travel outside of the state to have one's baby. 

I am creating a video that will address the misconception of the amazing women who step up to be surrogates- misconceptions and misinformation which are preventing the bill to make surrogacy legal in NY from passing.  

As you know, gestational carriers are not poor, disenfranchised women with few economic opportunities as described by the famous feminists Gloria Steinem in a letter to lawmaker denouncing the bill. They are teachers,nurses, SAHM and above all, generous.

LEGALIZE GESTATIONAL SURROGACY

Travelling is a wonderful opportunity. Travelling out of NY state to use a gestational carrier is not.

Infertility is difficult enough without adding the burden and expense of travel. 

New York is one of only three states where compensated surrogacy is not permitted. 

Let’s change that.
