Get To Know The Heart Behind Chelsea Surrogacy Advisors.

You know you're in the right place when you're working with someone who can empathize with your circumstances. A person who has been down the same tangled path, waded through the weeds, and cleared the way to create the dream they always imagined.

Susan Baldomar is that someone.

Susan founded Chelsea Surrogacy Advisors (CSA) after her own struggle to parenthood.

Never one to stand quietly in the face of need, Susan founded CSA to provide intended parents (IPs) with the expert, yet impartial advice she and her husband desperately needed when the agency they hired for their surrogacy journey failed them. Instead of finding a road-map to guide them through the murkier aspects of surrogacy arrangements, Susan and her husband found that within certain sectors of the surrogacy world, professional relationships and industry agendas trumped advocating for the health and safety of their unborn child.

Susan founded CSA to change the way intended parents learn about and enter into surrogacy.

At CSA, we believe IPs and their future children are best served by learning about the surrogacy process from an informed, impartial voice before meeting with an agency or embarking on an independent match. CSA draws upon years of research and first-hand experience to provide IPs with knowledge and tools to help minimize their emotional and financial exposure.

Chelsea Surrogacy Advisors provides expert, unbiased advice during every step of the process: for those considering surrogacy to intended parents needing advocacy along the way.

Prior to CSA, Susan was an advertising executive in Boston and New York, where she was charged with developing media strategies for Fortune 500 Companies. Since beginning her career, Susan has used her professional skills to give a voice to issues and individuals who might not be heard otherwise. She is a former board member of The Alliance for Animals in Boston, Urban Cat League in New York City, and is a founding board member of the Workers Justice Project, an organization dedicated to improving opportunities and safety conditions for low-wage workers. Susan has also testified in Albany on behalf of the Parent Child Security Act in an effort to help make surrogacy legal in New York State.

Susan currently lives in New York City with her husband Ethan, and their daughter Mirabelle.
